  3. INNOVATION, CREATIVITY, AND ACADEMIC-BUSINESS LINKAGES IN THE LOCAL INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION ECOSYSTEM

On the afternoon of January 4, 2026, a significant milestone in the presentation of technology and human resource supply-demand linkages was identified through a working session between the Institute of Applied Science and Technology Research, Quy Nhon University, and Dai Thanh Wood Technology Joint Stock Company. More than just a friendly exchange, this was an architectural dialogue where academic thinking met the practical realities of the digital economy.

At the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Duc Tung – Rector of Quy Nhon University; Dr. Nguyen Chi Tranh - Director of the Institute of Applied Science and Technology Research, Quy Nhon University, former Deputy Head of the Faculty of Finance, Banking & Business Administration; Prof. Dr. Vo Vien, Head of the Institute for Applied Science and Technology Research, emphasized the importance of collaboration between schools and businesses, and proposed a rational operating mechanism where schools would design teaching modules based on the specific "orders" regarding energy and quantity from businesses.
From a business perspective, Mr. Le Van Luong – representative of Dai Thanh Wood Technology Joint Stock Company, and Mr. Trinh Nhu Y – Head of ERP Department of the company, emphasized the importance of the need for interdisciplinary human resources as well as the obstacles requiring consultation and solutions from experts.

In response to these expectations, experts from the university put forward groundbreaking proposals:
Based on the proposals of Dr. Nguyen Chi Tranh - Director of the Institute for Applied Science and Technology Research; Dr. Le Dzu Nhat - Director of the Master of Business Administration Program; and Dr. Do Van Can – Director of the Control and Automation Engineering Program, they proposed solutions to leverage the advantages of students who already have a strong professional foundation, while coordinating with the Faculty of Finance - Banking and Business Administration, and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology to supplement management and technical knowledge through short-term and long-term training programs.

The meeting concluded with a high level of consensus on a comprehensive cooperation plan. The Institute for Applied Science and Technology Research will act as a "bridge" to coordinate and closely survey actual needs in order to build the most feasible implementation roadmap.

Once again, we sincerely thank the FBA lecturers, Dr. Nguyen Chi Tranh and Dr. Le Dzu Nhat, for their collaboration with the enterprise.
